[CAT] Avui escolto una font gòtica que es va instal·lar en la restauració de l’antic Hospital de la Santa Creu i que ara acull la Biblioteca de Catalunya o l’Institut d’Estudis Catalans. Les fonts gòtiques son de pedra i ornamentalment no son espectaculars, però a mi personalment m’agrada aquest antic minimalisme. El fons de la font està fet de ceràmica i està al mig dels Jardins de Rubió i Lluch que, desgraciadament a certes hores de la nit, no és gaire segur transitar-los. La sonoritat és tranquil·la i d’un únic brollador artificial. És ben curiós adornar-se’n que és una font important pels ocells, ja que coloms i pardals no paren d’apropar-se a beure la seva aigua. Vaig crear una pestanya en aquest lloc on apareixen tots els sons que aniré enregistrant de fonts i brolladors de la ciutat de Barcelona.

Las fuentes góticas son de piedra y ornamentalmente no son espectaculares, pero personalmente me gusta este antiguo minimalismo. El fondo de la fuente está hecho de cerámica y está en medio de los Jardines de Rubió y Lluch que, desgraciadamente a ciertas horas de la noche, no es seguro transitarlos. La sonoridad es tranquila y de un único manantial artificial. Es curioso darse cuenta que es una fuente importante para los pájaros, ya que palomas y gorriones no paran de acercarse a beber su agua. Creé una pestaña en este sitio donde aparecen todos los sonidos que iré grabando de fuentes y manantiales de la ciudad de Barcelona.

The sound is quiet and from a single artificial fountain. It is very curious to adorn yourself with it, which is an important source for birds, since pigeons and sparrows keep coming to drink its water.
